Given Cruz Azul’s history of disappointing against expectations, the club will be desperate to discard that narrative on Saturday and make the comeback against Club Tijuana.

That’s because Tijuana fell to Club America in penalty kicks with a playoff spot on the line in their matchup before that. Regardless, Club Tijuana was able to defeat Atlas 3-0 to reach this spot thanks to goals scored by Murillo and Kevin Castañeda.
