Blue Bloods character has the most ‘surprising’ ending, Star teases

blue blood fans better hold on to their hats as the final installment of the series approaches. Actor Abigail Hawk made some shocking revelations about the show’s series finale and which character will shock audiences the most.

“Erin has the most surprising conclusion,” she shared Us Weekly last month about which member of the Reagan family would meet a shocking end.

Bridget Moynahan has portrayed Erin Reagan in all 14 seasons of the show. It looks like things are going to be on the line for her in the show’s dramatic series finale on December 13.

“I’m a little scared for Bridget,” Abigail joked with her colleague, saying she didn’t want to give away too much of Erin’s final story line. “I love her so much, but I also have a healthy respect for that woman.”

Erin’s character has had quite an interesting turn in Season 14 as her ex-husband, Jack Boyle, reappeared on the show. Jack is played Peter Hermannwho has been quite the polarizing character throughout the seasons.

CBS released images from the last two episodes. It kind of looks like Erin and Jack are getting cozy with each other again. In one photo, Erin can be seen putting her arm around Jack, signaling that something could be brewing between them.

Would it be surprising if Erin and Jack officially got back together and decided to get married again? Definitely! And we wouldn’t be surprised if Erin or one of her siblings had some big news to share at the final Reagan family dinner. But we can’t be sure until the final episodes play out on TV.

Bridget also teased what’s in store for Erin and Jack in season 14.

“The rest of the family is really not into him,” she shared TV Insider in an interview published on November 15. “This season, he comes in a few times, and I think people are going to be really excited about the last episode in terms of that story.”

“It’s so interesting, isn’t it? Your kind of first big love and the hurt and then knowing that it’s really like your soulmate and best friend and you keep flirting over the years,” she said of their rocky romance on the show .” Isn’t it so much fun to still flirt with the bad relationship? It may not be the healthiest for you, even in adulthood.”

One thing that is certain is that the show’s ending will be satisfying.

“There’s some heartbreak and there’s some happy news,” the Sex and the city actress dished. “There is some hopeful news.”

All in all, the cast all seem to agree that ending the show now is not the right move by CBS.

“None of us wanted the show to end. Every single one of us, no matter what rumors were flying around, were very ready, willing and able to continue working,” Abigail shared. Us Weekly. “Most especially Empty (Selleck) and Lean (Cariou).”
