Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears

An annual tradition continues, then Lions take on the Bears to open up the NFL’s Thanksgiving Day slate of games.

Currently sitting at 10-1 and riding a nine-game winning streak following a 24-6 win against the Colts last Sunday, the Lions are off to their best start since 1934. Detroit hasn’t won on Thanksgiving since 2016, and this It works as the best chance for Dan Campbell and his team to break that losing streak.

However, the short rest could be a problem for Detroit as several Lions suffered injuries during the Colts game. Starters like Taylor Decker and Carlton Davis III will miss Thursday’s game because of the short week, while others like Kalif Raymond are out longer.

This game starts an important stretch for the Lions as four of their last six games are against NFC North opponents. This first game against the Bears and Caleb Williams is still important for Detroit to maintain their slim lead in the division, even with Chicago on a five-game losing streak after starting 4-2.
