Burger King employee accused of stabbing manager during argument at a Highway 62 store

A woman who works at the Burger King on Highway 62 in Orange is accused of stabbing the manager during an argument, according to information from Sgt. Isaac Henry of the Orange Police Department provided to KFDM/Fox 4 News.

Marcia Lynne Wiltz, 22, was jailed on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a 2nd degree felony.

Sgt. Henry says officers responded to the reported stabbing around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Burger King, 2302 Highway 62 in Orange.

According to Sgt. Henry, investigators learned an employee and the manager were involved in a physical altercation. Witnesses say during the altercation, Wiltz stabbed the manager. Officers found Wiltz nearby and took her into custody.

The victim was transported to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she was treated and released.
