MSU (5-1) is coming off a 72-56 win over Colorado on Monday in the first round of the Maui Invitational. Memphis (5-0) upset two-time defending national champion and No. 2-ranked Connecticut 99-97 in overtime in its first game in Maui.

This will be the third-ever meeting between the two programs, with the series tied 1-1. MSU won the last meeting between the teams 70-48 in a 2013 NCAA Tournament game.

The winner of Tuesday’s game will play the winner of the game between North Carolina and Auburn in the Maui Invitational championship game on Wednesday.
