Here’s where you can see NOSFERATU in 35mm

As if exciting for Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu couldn’t get any higher, a brand new poster has revealed today that some lucky theatergoers will be able to catch the vampire horror in glorious 35mm, starting on the film’s December 25th release date.

The R-rated horror from Focus Features stars Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Eggers’ take on the expressionist classic from FW Murnau follows a young woman (Depp) who becomes the object of desire for the terrifying vampire Count Orlok (Skarsgård).

Another brand new poster (see both below) also confirms that Nosferatu will also play in the glorious IMAX, so you can see Skarsgård’s “unrecognizable” transformation on some of the biggest screens in the country.

35mm performances will play at the following theaters:

  • Alamo Brooklyn – New York, NY
  • Chinese Theater – Los Angeles, California
  • New Beverly – Los Angeles, CA
  • Music Box – Chicago, IL
  • Alamo New Mission – San Francisco, CA
  • Coolidge Corner – Boston, MA
  • Alamo South Lamar – Austin, TX
  • The Belcourt – Nashville, TN
  • Hollywood Theater – Portland, OR
