‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Speak Out After Bravo Reboots Show With New Cast

It’s the end of an era for Vanderpump rules.

The VPR original cast members react to the news that they will not be returning for season 12. Bravo revealed on November 26 that the show will be returning with an all-new cast. It followed months of speculation that the series was headed for cancellation when the cameras didn’t come up during the summer – its usual filming schedule.

“Where to Begin,” Lala Kent wrote in an Instagram post. “I was a young girl from Salt Lake City who came to LA. I wanted to introduce myself as Lauren, but because my childhood best friend referred to me as Lala, my nickname quickly stuck. Sur was a place that became home. Not only did I find myself sipping vodka sodas there, but behind a hostess stand… it’s still to this day the scariest job I’ve ever had.Shortly after, the opportunity to be on a show called Vanderpump rules landed in front of me.”

“I have such mixed feelings right now,” she continued. “It’s no secret that I don’t like change. This is the exception. I want to say thank you for rocking with us for so many years. This show changed my entire life. I’m incredibly grateful for every moment. I is incredibly grateful to Bravo, to NBCU, to our crew, the entire cast and most importantly to all of you. We rocked this bitch until the wheels fell off ”

Kent also shared a collection of 20 photos and videos from her time on the show, which she joined during its fourth season in 2015.

Brittany Cartwright, who first appeared on VPR as Jax Taylor’s girlfriend in 2015, before becoming a full-time cast member until 2020, commented: “Oh the memories we made! Love you LaLa ”
