Reed Blankenship leaves Eagles game vs. Rams with a shoulder injury

The Eagles is in Los Angeles for a critical Sunday game against the Rams, and may be forced to go without star safety Reed Blankenship.

Blankenship was forced to leave the game on Philadelphia’s first defensive series after suffering a shoulder injury while colliding with cornerback Darius Slay while making a tackle on Rams running back Kyren Wiliams.

Blankenship has 38 tackles, three interceptions and five passes defended in ten of the eleven games played this season, and he was replaced in the secondary by Tristin McCollum.

Update:

After a short break, Blankenship has returned to the lineup.
