The Green Bay Packers rolled through the San Francisco 49ers 38-10 on Sunday as the Niners were without starting quarterback Brock Purdy.

It was the Josh Jacobs show for the Packers as the star running back racked up 106 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries. He left briefly due to cramps but returned to help his team secure the win.

It wasn’t a very memorable night for quarterback Jordan Love, as he had just 163 passing yards and two touchdowns, but it was more than enough with Jacobs playing the way he did.

San Francisco backup Brandon Allen had 199 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception. He fumbled early in the fourth quarter and the Packers scored moments later to put the game out of reach.

After the win, fans had high praise for Jacobs.

A one-man solution on #Packers‘ red zone offense.

Think about #Packers have featured their two best red zone options in this first half: Josh Jacobs and Tucker Kraft. Both built to get hard track.

The Packers improved to 8-3 on the year and remained in sixth place in the NFC standings. Winning the division would be ideal for Green Bay, but it seems out of reach in a stacked NFC North that the Detroit Lions currently lead.

The 49ers, meanwhile, fell to 5-6 on the year and have a mountain to climb to get back into the playoffs. Their postseason hopes are not entirely shot, but they will need to close out the season strong if they want a chance to defend their NFC championship from last season.
