Team Penske, Verizon Unveil New INDYCAR Livery on FOX

FOX reveals first look at no. 12 Verizon Chevy Driven by Power in 2025

Team Penske and Verizon unveiled a striking new paint scheme for the Verizon Chevrolet No. 24 on November 24th. 12 driven by two-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Will Power.

The 2018 Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge winner Power will debut this new color at the 2025 season opener, the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding, Sunday, March 2 on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. Verizon, Power and Team Penske begin their 17th season together, one of the longest-running partnerships in motorsports.

“Verizon continues to use motorsports to reach its customers as one of the most recognizable brands within the NTT INDYCAR SERIES,” said Team Penske President Tim Cindric. “This new color represents the beginning of another chapter in the long-standing partnership between Team Penske, Verizon and Will Power. Verizon is a leader in their industry and we are very proud of the successes we have had together on and off the racetrack. “

The unique color was revealed during the NFL doubleheader weekend on FOX, which will debut as the new broadcast partner of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in 2025. The 2025 livery reflects the new Verizon branding that was rolled out over the summer to coincide with the energy and vibrancy of how Verizon controls the way people live, work and play. It’s a notable change from previous editions Power has driven since making his INDYCAR SERIES debut for Team Penske in 2009. Power has produced 40 of his 44 career INDYCAR SERIES wins in Verizon livery.

“This bold new color reflects a new chapter in our partnership, showcasing the evolution of our brand and enduring connection with race fans,” said Nick Kelly, vice president of partnerships at Verizon. “We are excited to continue this journey with one of the sport’s most talented teams.”

Power continues to add to a legendary INDYCAR SERIES career that ranks him as the all-time leader in pole positions with 70 and tied for fourth on the all-time wins list with 44. His 41 wins throughout his Team Penske career tied him for fifth on a list of legendary drivers who have competed for the team. A total of 12 drivers have won multiple INDYCAR SERIES championships for Team Penske, with both of Power’s titles coming behind the wheel of the Verizon No. 12.

“It goes without saying that I owe so much of my success to Verizon,” Power said. “They have been with me throughout my time at Team Penske, with great success both on and off the track.

“We’ve run a number of different paints in that time, but never one that stands out like this one. New paints keep things fresh and add an extra level of excitement to an already exciting time to be in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.”
