Ruben Amorim delivers team news update | Ipswich Town v Manchester United

IPSWICH CITY’S TEAM NEWS

Kieran McKenna’s team is definitely without Chiedozie Ogbene, who underwent surgery at the end of October on an Achilles tear and is unlikely to return until the end of the season.

Former England midfielder Kalvin Phillips will return from suspension but will be assessed. McKenna told reporters at his press conference on Friday that Phillips has had a problem since Ipswich’s 1-1 home draw with Leicester on November 2.

Nathan Broadhead and Wesley Burns could return after having time out during the international break to recover from a minor groin problem and a fracture respectively. Jacob Greaves has been out with a muscle injury since early October but has recently returned to training, as has Jack Taylor, also unavailable in recent weeks. Both have trained with the main group, leaving the coaches with a decision before Sunday.

Omari Hutchinson, with a badly bruised foot, could be available to play a role but striker George Hirst is out for “a while”, McKenna said, with a knee injury against Tottenham.
