College Football Playoff Predictions Week 13 – Who is most likely to make the playoffs

With a few weeks left until the College Football Playoff field is set, there are only a few undefeated teams left. Week 13 knocked off two more undefeated teams, a few more messy conference races.

Indiana Hoosiers, No. 5 in last week’s rankings, played just their second AP top-five game in school history, against the Ohio State Buckeyes, No. 2 on the ranking list. The Buckeyes handled the Hoosiers thoroughly, limiting them to just 151 total yards. A win next week against the Michigan Wolverines would put Ohio State in the Big Ten title for a rematch with No. 1 Oregon Ducks.

In the Big 12, the BYU Cougars and Colorado Buffaloes could clinch spots with wins and some help. Neither kept their end of the bargain. BYU lost to the Arizona State Sun Devils and Colorado was run over by Devin Neal and the Kansas Jayhawks.

The Army Black Knights were the other undefeated team to fall in Week 13. They were handily beaten by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who are one win over the USC Trojans away from likely making the playoffs. Two teams working for at-large bids at best — the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ole Miss Rebels — suffered road upsets that could knock them out of contention.
