Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Daughters Make Rare Appearance at ‘Moana 2’ Premiere

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had his three daughters to support him at the “Moana 2” premiere.

Eight years after the original Disney film was released, the sequel hits theaters on November 27. To celebrate the release, Johnson, who voices Maui, attended the world premiere held at the Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute in Kapolei, Hawaii, on November 21.

It was an extra special day for Johnson, who posed with her three daughters — Simone Johnson, 23, Jasmine Johnson, 8, and Tiana Johnson, 6 — and mom Ata Johnson. In one photo, Dwayne Johnson, in an aqua-colored suit, smiles with his WWE star daughter and mother.

Simone Johnson, whose stage name is Ava Raine, has followed in her father’s wrestling footsteps after signing with WWE at the age of 18. The Rock shares Simone Johnson with ex-wife Dany Garcia.

The movie star also snapped photos with wife Lauren Hashian and their two daughters, who coordinated by wearing dresses in the same Hawaiian print.

Ahead of the premiere, Dwayne Johnson shared a video of his Instagram where he talked about how personal the story of Moana is to him, his culture and family.

Calling himself a “girl daddy,” he expressed how the “Moana” movies allow young and adolescent girls to ask, “What if there’s more out there behind the reef that you can’t see? … And that answer is always yes.”

“I’m an advocate for encouraging our young people out there and especially encouraging our little girls and how important that is,” he said.

He also called the premiere a “full circle” moment for him because of his roots.

“I grew up on these islands. When I was a kid, this was home. This will always be home,” he said, adding that his character in the film was “life-changing.”

Dwayne Johnson is also portraying Maui in the upcoming live-action version, due for release in 2026.
