Touchy Pete Wicks & Strictly partner Jowita ‘closer than ever’ as Maura Higgins says ‘I’m very single’

STRICTLY stars Pete Wick and Jowita Przystal’s relationship is on the rise – with them sharing car rides.

Insiders claim the touchy-feely pair are “closer than ever” now Pete’s last love interest Maura Higgins has left to go Down Under for I’m A Celebrity.

A source said the intensifying chemistry between reality star Pete, 36, and Polish pro dancer Jowita, 30, is the talk of the show backstage.

They told The Sun: “The chemistry between them has been pretty clear since the moment they met.

“But in the last few weeks something has changed and they’ve started seeing each other away from the show.

“They have tried to keep it low-key, but they often travel together rather than be separated cars to different places.

“And they’re so tactile backstage – it’s become pretty clear that something’s going on.

“Everyone is talking about how they seem closer than ever.”

Motorbike-loving Pete, who found fame on The Only Way Is Essex, was seen on a date with Maura, 33, earlier in this year’s Strictly series.

But when the former Love Island star landed in Oz this month, she said: “I’m dating but I’m very single.”

Jowita split from her longtime lover, dancer Michael Danilczuk, in 2022, the same year she won the BBC ballroom show with Hamza Yassin.

Our source continued: “It could be that Pete was waiting to see what would happen with Maura. They are both single.

“And she clearly feels the same way about seeing them away from the cameras, so good for them.”

Pete and Jowita are going to tango tomorrow night to Phil Collins’ Easy Lover.
