Josh Green’s Hornets snapped a two-game losing streak behind a career-high 38 points from Brandon Miller to get back to 6-9 on the season after a tense extra period that went down to the wire.

After Miller’s 3-pointer gave Charlotte a 121-115 lead with 32.1 seconds left in OT, Jaden Ivey drilled his own three and then hit a floating jumper to get Detroit within two points with 11.1 on the clock.

Ivey intentionally missed a free throw with 5.1 seconds left to give Detroit a chance to tie or win the game, but Tobias Harris scrambled to get a shot up on a chaotic play blocked by Miller for the home win.

LaMelo Ball had 35 points, six rebounds and nine assists — including one of the season’s assists to Green.

The ball in the third quarter found Green after grabbing his missed shot at the rim and then swinging a pass to the Aussie in the corner through several Detroit defenders as he fell to the ground.

Green finished with 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting — including 3-of-3 from downtown — three rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes.

Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 27 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists, while Harris added 26 points, six triples and eight boards.

In other results, Wanger hit a straight-up 3-pointer with 3.1 seconds left in the fourth quarter to guide the Magic to a huge 119-118 victory in LA.

Wagner erupted for 37 points on 13-of-26 shooting with 11 assists to continue his red-hot form with Paolo Banchero sidelined as Orlando withstood a combined 70 points from the superstar duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

It marked the Magic’s eighth win from their last nine games to improve to 10-7 overall, tied for fourth in the East.

Elsewhere, the Toronto Raptors defeated Minnesota 110-105 in Scottie Barnes’ return from an eye injury.

Barnes had 17 points in his return, while RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 31 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
