Weather forecast for areas of Derry for icy conditions tonight and tomorrow

A weather warning of ice in some areas of Derry has been shared by Derry City and Strabane District Council.

The NI Direct Facebook page shared the warning that in wintry conditions from 16.00 to 10.00 tomorrow from the MET office.

The warning is aimed at all road users, from motorists to pedestrians.

NI Direct said: “There is a weather warning for ice in some areas. Surfaces including untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths may be difficult. There may be a risk of injury from slipping and falling. Take extra care. Adapt your driving to the conditions and reduce your speed.”
