After reports of ambulances and Secret Service vehicles at Donald Trumps residence, Mar-a-Lagoin Palm Beach, Florida appeared, Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Trump, branded the reporter who broke the story a “fu***** dummy.” Anthony Guglielmi, the chief of communications for the US Secret Service, also responded to the report, clarifying that there was no “Secret Service directed medical transport from Mar-a-Lago.”

Cheung was the first to respond, via his account on X, lashing out at The Independent reporter Andrew Feinberg, who broke the story, as a “fu***** dummy.”

“The press has created a fake, unofficial ‘pool’ because they want to feel important to themselves,” Cheung wrote. “In this case, an idiot overreacted at CBS and pulled the fire alarm with no reason to think they were going to get the scoop of a lifetime.”

“Fucking dummy,” he added.

Feinberg, who is chief White House correspondent for the Independent, initially wrote about two ambulances and several vans “full of Secret Service” leaving Mar-a-Lago later Thursday. Feinberg cited the news as the pool via a reporter and stringer present outside Mar-a-Lago, providing real-time updates.

Within minutes, however, Feinberg gave an update on the report, saying it was Vice President-elect JD Vance’s motorcade doing some routine work at Donald Trump’s residence. “False alarm,” he said in the update. “Go about your business.”

In response to Feinberg’s post on X, Secret Service Communications Director Anthony Guglielmi confirmed that there was no Secret Service directed medical transport from Mar-a-Lago.

“Andrew, we are not tracking any Secret Service directed medical transport from Mar-a-Lago and from our personnel on the ground, there are no issues or concerns with any Secret Service protected on property,” he wrote. “If there’s an ambulance, it could be an unrelated issue.”

Trump was last seen at the SpaceX rocket launch with Elon Musk at Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas.
