YouTube Gold: Dalton Connects For 37 for LA

You know how someone ends up doing a redraft of the NBA’s latest rookie class every year?

There are a few that really stood out. Stephon Castle has done very well with San Antonio. Donovan Clingan is doing a solid job with the Trailblazers. Zach Edey presents issues with the Grizzlies. There are a few others, but two guys who would likely move up a long way are former Blue Devil Jared McCain of the 76ers and Dalton Knecht of the Los Angeles Lakers.

They finished 16th and 17th, respectively, and while McCain has gone for 18, 27, 23, 34, 29, 20 and 20 in his last seven games and is averaging 15 ppg so far, Knecht is also playing well.

Now coached by former Blue Devil JJ Redick, Knecht is also doing very well, thank you very much.

In his last four games, Knecht has hit for 19, 14, 27 and, Wednesday evening the 37th.

And he was also red hot, hitting 9-12 from behind the line and 12-16 overall. Rookies just don’t do it.

And a quick word for Redick, too. A lot of people had their doubts about him, but with all their issues, he has LA third in the West and people are impressed with the chops he’s shown so far.
