Who are the announcers for Penn State’s pivotal Big Ten game at Minnesota on Saturday?

Penn State is striving to get to 10-1, and PJ Fleck’s Minnesota program is in the way.

The Nittany Lions battle the 6-4 Golden Gophers on Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis. Kickoff is at 3:30 PM (EST), and CBS will telecast.

James Franklin’s side are firm favorites and the Lions are 4-0 away from home. PSU has wins at West Virginia, USC, Wisconsin and Purdue.

And there’s this: The Lions have played very well this season, with Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson leading the charge.

They do it again on Saturday.

Nessler will handle play-by-play duties for PSU-Minnesota with Danielson, a former Purdue quarterback who played long in the NFL, providing the analysis.

Nessler and Danielson were in Los Angeles for PSU’s 33-30 overtime win over USC, and they handled the Lions’ 49-0 victory over Purdue in West Lafayette last Saturday.

The duo is CBS’ top announcing team for Big Ten games. Jenny Dell will be the sideline reporter.

PennLive had the opportunity to chat with Danielson last week. Gary shared some of his thoughts on the development of Penn State quarterback Drew Allar and who he thinks is the Big Ten’s best team.
