Jelly Roll and Keith Urban Bring the Fire with the performance of ‘Liar’ at the 2024 CMA Awards

Temperatures rose at the 2024 CMA Awards when Jelly Roll took the stage for his second performance of the night, joining Keith Urban for a rousing performance of “Liar.”

Against a backdrop of bursts of flame and rhythmic sparks, the two musicians brought the heat, with the “Son of a Sinner” singer passionately belting out his lyrics while the Aussie-American country star shredded on guitar next to him. “You ain’t nothing but a liar/ Yeah, I’m walking right out of the fire,” Jelly sang as his wife — podcaster Bunnie XO — mouthed the lyrics in the audience. “Yeah, you try to hold me down/ Try to put me underground/ But I only go higher.”
