Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment officially announce the 4K Ultra HD Steelbook release of Ron Howard’s beloved fantasy adventure Arrow (1988) this morning!

BURBANK, CA (November 12, 2024) – Fans will enjoy the iconic fantasy epic, Arrowfrom legendary filmmakers George Lucas and Ron Howard when it arrives on December 10 in a stunning collectible 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook. The film will also be available for purchase on digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home.

Nominated for two Oscars, the timeless classic from 1988 follows a young farmer, Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis), who is chosen to embark on a perilous journey to protect a special baby from an evil queen.

Movie synopsis

From legendary filmmakers George Lucas and Ron Howard comes Arrowa timeless fantasy tale where heroes come in all sizes. When Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis) finds an abandoned baby girl, he learns that she is destined to end the evil Queen Bavmorda’s reign. Willow teams up with a rogue swordsman (Val Kilmer) to protect the child from the darkness. It is the ultimate story of good versus evil – with magic and danger.
