Miranda Lambert, Husband Brendan McLoughlin Attend 2024 CMA Awards

Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlinmade a perfect couple at the 2024 CMA Awards.

The couple were all smiles as they walked the red carpet together ahead of the ceremony on Wednesday, November 20, which was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Lambert, 41, stunned in a floor-length, off-the-shoulder black dress, while McLoughlin rocked a suit.

Although Lambert is not nominated in any categories this year, she has won 14 CMA Awards throughout her career, seven of which were for Female Vocalist of the Year.

Lambert was joined by McLoughlin, 33, who she married in January 2019. Earlier this year, she opened up about their life outside the limelight.

“We’re pretty chill. When we’re off work, I’m in my backyard hanging vibe,” she exclusively shared Us Weekly in her September cover story. “We make drinks and listen to music. Sometimes we have the best parties alone. He loves what he calls ‘happy hour music’ – Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls. So we have different tastes, but we sit there for hours and listens. Sometimes I tell him, ‘We’re kind of on a date,’ which is pretty awesome.”

Lambert also revealed how she and McLoughlin ended up writing the song “Dammit Randy” from her latest album, Postcard from Texas. After he suggested that “songwriting can’t be that hard,” she put him to the test.

“We had him come into the studio and spend a whole day writing,” she elaborated. “He changed his tune after that. It was more of a fun experiment, but he got a great song out of it.”

Whether the two are working together or enjoying quality time at home, Lambert shared Us she has learned “so much” about love since being with McLoughlin.

“I think what I’ve learned the most is just that communication is everything,” she explained. “Love doesn’t always cut it. You have to talk about s—. And sometimes you have to compromise and be willing to listen to each other when you have something important to say. Love is hard some days, but the rewards is so worth it.”

Although her professional success shows no signs of abating, Lambert has focused more on her personal life in recent years in an attempt to achieve the best of both worlds.

“I’m lucky,” she said Us. “I hit a lot of my goals early on and then you think, ‘What am I chasing now?’ It takes a while to find the balance of actually living your life so you have something to write about and be constantly on the go. And I think I finally found that balance pretty good.”
