Chris Stapleton forgot to thank Wife Morgane after 2024 CMA Awards win

Chris Stapleton forgot to thank an important collaborator when he accepted his first win tonight at the 2024 Country Music Association Awards.

On Wednesday, Nov. 20, the singer, 46, attended the 58th annual Country Music Awards show in Nashville, where he was nominated for a total of five awards. Earlier in the night, he took home the award for single of the year for his song “White Horse”, which was produced by his wife Morgane Stapleton.

The country star forgot to give her a shout-out during his acceptance speech – but got the chance to make up for it when he secured his second Song of the Year win of the night for the same tune.
