Harry Styles, Simon Cowell, James Corden Spotted

Liam Payne’s funeral takes place today and his One Direction bandmates as well as Simon Cowell are in attendance.

Payne’s former bandmates and friends Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan could all be seen in photos provided by Getty.

Also in attendance was Cowell, who managed Payne’s band via his ITV show The X Factor and was close to him, and fhv.Late Late Show hosted by James Corden. A number of other familiar faces could be seen alongside Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy. After Payne’s death, Cowell went on hiatus Britain’s Got Talent auditions.

Payne’s funeral will take place at a church in Buckinghamshire, southern England, this afternoon.

The singer’s body was flown back to the UK earlier this month for the funeral after the 31-year-old tragically died in Argentina on October 16. Payne fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. Tributes poured in from bandmates, Cowell and many others, including his ex-wife Cheryl Cole, with whom he has a son.

Three people have been charged in connection with Payne’s death with “crimes of abandoning a person followed by death, delivery and facilitation of narcotics.” Over the weekend, prosecutors claimed his friendship with an Argentine waiter may have led to his death.
