The country music star’s ex-boyfriend threatens to post a video of an abusive relationship

The ugly breakup between country music star Zach Bryan and Barstool Sports personality Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia continues with a new accusation.

She has already accused Bryan of abuse, and on Sunday she took to TikTok to threaten that if the singer didn’t stop posting pictures and videos of her cat, she would post a video of him “whipping (expletive) in my face.”

Her boss at Barstool, Dave Portnoy, encouraged her to post it, and she replied that she would just send him the footage. If it actually exists and Portnoy gets it… well, there’s no love lost between him and Bryan, so it would almost certainly become public.

LaPaglia previously claimed that Bryan offered to pay her a handsome sum to keep the details of their relationship under wraps.

“The last year of my life has been like the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this guy,” LaPaglia said on his BFFs Podcast. “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him. My brain is rewired and I’m afraid of upsetting him.”

LaPaglia then outlined what she called “emotional abuse.” “There was always another excuse for why he treated me so badly and why I cry myself to sleep every night, why he screams at me,” she said. “And then you wake up, it’s the excuse, it’s ‘I’m getting better, I need you in my life’.”

LaPaglia claimed Bryan offered her $12 million and an apartment in New York to sign a nondisclosure agreement after their breakup, but she said she turned it down.

“I was offered a lot of money, like a big lump sum and a couple of options,” she said. “Basically, I would have received the money within three years. I would have had to sign over all my experiences, all that I am, to this person. They would have monitored everything I do.

“I didn’t accept any money,” she added. “I’m not going to take any money. I think that’s beneath me. I don’t think you can pay people that you hurt to protect you. I think that speaks for itself much about offering millions of dollars to this seemingly beautiful relationship to keep it a secret.”

LaPaglia shared specific instances, including one at the Golden Globes where she claimed Bryan did not approve of her dress.

“Everything good, everything good that I did for me, he made sure to ruin it for me,” she said. “He ruined my birthday. He ruined my trip. He ruined the Golden Globes. Everything Brianna did for Brianna, he had to ruin it.”

There was much more outlined in the podcast, and you can read more about it here at Billboard.com.

“I lost myself through this whole relationship,” LaPaglia said. “I don’t even recognize myself anymore. I lost 15 pounds. I didn’t have to lose in the relationship. I didn’t sleep. I was completely isolated from my family, from my friends, from work.”
