Chargers WR Ladd McConkey injures shoulder vs Bengals in NFL Week 11

game

Los Angeles Chargers rookie receiver Ladd McConkey suffered a shoulder injury during the first quarter of the NFL Week 11 game against Cincinnati Bengals on NBC’s Sunday Night Football at SoFi Stadium.

McConkey went to the blue medical tent to be evaluated. The Chargers announced that McConkey was questionable to return, but he returned during the second quarter and had an 11-yard catch just before the 2-minute warning.

“The rookie from Georgia that’s sticking up in the right collarbone area,” play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico said when McConkey went down with the injury.

McConkey had one catch for 20 yards before leaving the game.

McConkey entered Sunday’s game as the Chargers’ leading receiver this season. He was a second round selection of the Chargers out of Georgia in the 2024 NFL draft.
