How to watch: Broncos vs. Falcons

The Broncos return home for a matchup with the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. Denver will look to get back into the win column as the team aims to bolster its postseason aspirations.

Denver’s defense will look for another strong performance as the unit aims to pressure quarterback Kirk Cousins, who currently ranks third in the NFL in passing yards (2,634) and is tied for fourth in passing touchdowns (17). Defensive end Zach Allenwho leads all defensive tackles in the league with 42 quarterback pressures, could aim to play a key role in that effort. Outside linebacker Nick Bonittowho leads the Broncos with seven sacks this season, should also look to apply pressure. The Broncos’ secondary will face a challenge as the Falcons’ offense features the wide receiver duo of Darnell Mooney and Drake London, both of whom are in the top eight in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in the NFL this season. The Falcons have five players with 450-plus scrimmage yards in 2024, the most in the NFL. Cornerback Pat Surtain II has allowed just 0.6 yards per snap in coverage — the second-lowest among cornerbacks in the league — and should look to slow that production.

Offensively, rookie quarterback Bo Nix is coming off the best road performance of his career and should look to continue that play at home on Sunday. Nix finished Denver’s Week 10 game 22-of-30 for 215 yards, with two touchdowns and a 115.3 passer rating. Nix entered Week 11 leading all rookies in total touchdowns in 2024 and should look to add to that number on Sunday. Wide receiver Courtland Suttonwho leads the team with 42 receptions, 569 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns this season, should aim to maintain his connection with Nix. Running back Audric Estimewho led the Broncos with 14 carries and 53 rush yards in Week 10, could also look for another strong performance in Week 11.

The Broncos have ruled out wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hand), linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles) and safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee). Safety Brandon Jones (abdomen) was listed as questionable. Defensive end Zach Allen (elbow/not injury related – rest) and safety PJ Locke (thumb) were not granted game status, indicating they will be available to play in Sunday’s matchup.

For Atlanta, inside linebackers Troy Andersen (knee) and JD Bertrand (concussion), defensive linemen Ta’Quon Graham (chest) and James Smith-Williams (shin), tight end Charlie Woerner (concussion) and cornerback Dee Alford (hamstring) . Antonio Hamilton Sr. (pectoral) and Mike Hughes (neck) have been ruled out. Outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter (concussion) and center Drew Dalman (ankle) were listed as questionable.
