Chiefs rookie Worthy scores on 10-yard pass from Mahomes

ORCHARD PARK, NY — The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping for a big jump in production in the second half of the season from rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy, similar to what they got last year from Rashee Rice.

Worthy has gotten off to a good start in that regard in Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. He caught four passes on a first-half drive, the last for 10 yards and a touchdown to give the Chiefs a 7-6 lead.

On the touchdown, Worthy caught a short pass from Patrick Mahomes and ran over two defenders to the pylon in the right front corner of the end zone.
