Oasis fans fear worst after Liam Gallagher teases ‘massive announcement’

LIAM Gallagher left fans panicking after teasing a “massive announcement”.

The Champagne Supernova artist has had fans hanging on his every word since announcing that Oasis would be reuniting for a tour next year.

So now it looks like he’s having fun with it.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) this Saturday afternoon, Liam wrote: “A massive announcement is on the way.”

Sending a wave of excitement through fans, guesses immediately included new tour dates, special appearances or surprise additions to shows.

The running gag was the idea that Blur – who famously went head-to-head with Oasis during the Britpop era of the 90s – would sign on as their support.

“Has Albarn come to Oasis?” wrote one fan, while another said: “you and damon are best friends?”

“Are we getting another oasis album.” said another.

Others feared Liam had already fallen out with brother Noel, which could leave the trip in jeopardy.

But less than 10 minutes later, the cheeky star wrote: “IM THE F**KNG B****X CMON”

It is not clear if this is the actual “announcement” although many believe it is and he was just on his way.

“Oh yeah, we already knew that” said one response, while others called him a “criminal prankster”.

“F**K OFF YOU TEASE” joked one fan, while another told him to “Take a bow”

“Whether you’re celebrating an achievement or just in a hype mood, that energy definitely comes through loud and clear,” added a third.

“I bet right now you’re looking at our response and giggling,” remarked a fourth.
