Tate McRae announces third album, ‘So Close to What’, tour to follow

Tate McRae might be feeling greedy around 2025. The pop star releases her third album, So close to whaton February 21, then follow it up with a 50-date world tour.

According to a notice, So close to what will chart “the journey of growing up when the road ahead feels endless.” She started the LP cycle with the single “It’s ok, I’m ok.” She releases her new single “2 Hands” tonight, just hours after announcing the album.

In March, McRae kicks off her Miss Possessive Tour with a headlining concert at Mexico City’s Pepsi Center. The tour will span North America, South America, Europe and the UK, with a few festival stops along the way. opening for McRae in America, while Benee joins her for Europe and the UK

The 21-year-old released his debut album, I used to think I could flyin 2022. She followed it with the even bigger one Think laterwhich she dropped in December 2023. Think later spawned two massive hits for the Canadian pop star: “Greedy” and “Exes”.
