Jake Paul calls out Conor McGregor for his next fight; UFC champion responds with meme

Now that Jake Paul has “dispatched” Mike Tyson, he’s ready for his next money event. And he’s landed an opponent who, no surprise, is older and retired.

On Saturday, hours after defeating the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion by unanimous decision, Paul called out the former UFC champion. Conor McGregorwho is 36. But he won’t box him like he did Tyson.

He wants an MMA fight.

The YouTuber turned fighter, 27, wrote X: “Dear Conor, I know you told my team you wanted to fight me at 170 lbs. That’s never going to happen. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like it used to be done. But you will not.”

McGregor, who has no doubt seen the memes circulating on social media, responded with one of his own.

“Nakisa already called me boy, this guy is next for you. Good luck friend,” McGregor wrotealong with a photo of Senator Mitch McConnell. For those of you who don’t follow politics, McConnell is 82.

Paul experts have suggested everyone from Clint Eastwood to former President Jimmy Carter to Robert DeNiro (who actually won an Oscar for his portrayal of a boxer in “Raging Bull”) as Paul’s next opponent.

Meanwhile, Paul is counting his cash — he claims he made about $40 million for his appearance vs. Tyson — praising his company Most Valuable Promotions, whose deal with Netflix helped the streamer reach 60 million households — and leave plenty of frustrated subscribers.
