Justin Hartley on CBS’s ‘Tracker’ and Life After ‘This Is Us’

Although he found universal fame when he starred in the successful drama series This is us along with Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Milo Ventimiglia and Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley had long been in the television sphere. While today he plays an experienced survivalist and searches for missing people in the hit series Tracker on CBS, it has been quite a journey for the 47-year-old actor. Justin Hartley’s Early Life and Career

Born and raised in Illinois, Hartley burst onto the acting scene in 2002 when he took on the role of Fox Crane on the popular daytime soap opera. Passionswhich he worked on until 2006. With 22 episodes in the second season, Hartley believes the show’s longevity depends on it on his character’s development over the seasons.

As competent and confident as Colter isI don’t believe for one second that he doesn’t have a lot to learn, especially about himself and his family and all that,” Hartley shared TV Insider. “Going forward, I think the way the show will live on for the long haul is that we keep developing this character and he gets better at what he does. He’s a restless man, and what an audience at least it shows that I love to see, you love to see a character’s growth, and we have that.”
