Kevin Owens Slams WWE Management Over ‘Injustice’ After SmackDown Ban: ‘It’s Getting Harder And Harder To Do My Job’ | WWE news

Kevin Owens criticizes WWE management "Injustice" the following SmackDown bans: "It's getting harder and harder to do my job"

Kevin Owens made waves on social media after being banned from last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Milwaukee. After a heated altercation with Randy Orton a week prior, Owens was ejected from the Fiserv Forum, sparking an impassioned reaction. In a two-minute video titled “Injustice”, Owens lashed out at WWE management and called out Nick Aldis, Triple H, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes while defending his actions and confirming his return to SmackDown on November 22, 2024.
“You know it’s getting harder and harder to do my job,” Owens began in his video. “Because I keep suffering consequences for things that are absolutely not my fault.”
Owens, visibly frustrated, filmed the commercial from his car and addressed what he perceives as hypocrisy in WWE’s handling of his situation. The tension began when Owens put Randy Orton out of the match, a move he claims was completely provoked by Orton’s persistence in demanding a match at the Crown Jewel. Despite his attempts to avoid the match, Owens claimed, “I did exactly what Triple H was trying to warn Randy Orton about!”

The fallout from the incident led to WWE sidelining Orton indefinitely and Owens being banned from last week’s SmackDown. Kevin Owens didn’t hold back in expressing his displeasure. “All I did was do what they told me to do,” he explained. “Randy showed up and called me out to the ring and I showed up and now I’m in trouble for putting Randy Orton on the shelf? That’s absolute nonsense. It’s not fair.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Owens accused WWE officials of favoring Cody Rhodes, the reigning Universal Champion. He pointed out Nick Aldis’ apparent leniency towards Rhodes, who demanded that Owens appear on the November 22 episode of SmackDown in Salt Lake City.
Despite his frustrations, Owens confirmed his attendance, but made it clear that he was doing it for himself, not the company. “But everyone must remember one thing when I show up next Friday,” he warned. “I’m just doing what you all want me to do. I’m just doing my job.”

As Owens prepares to face Cody Rhodes on the upcoming SmackDown, the fallout from his comments continues to create buzz among WWE fans. Many are questioning the fairness of WWE’s decisions and whether Owens’ complaints will lead to further consequences or a shift in the ongoing storyline.
