Megan Fox’s pregnancy is ‘a new chapter’ for the relationship with MGK

Megan Fox‘s pregnancy has been a blessing for her and fiancé Machine Gun Kelly‘s relationship.

“They are both thrilled and excited to be parents together,” a source tells EXCLUSIVELY Us Weekly. “Pregnancy brings them closer.”

Fox, 38, announced she is expecting her and MGK’s first child together after revealing she had a miscarriage last year. While the actress and MGK, 34, struggled with the loss, the couple, who have been dating since 2020, went through a series of relationship issues.

“Nothing is ever truly lost,” Fox wrote via Instagram on Monday, Nov. 11, along with a photo showing off her baby bump. “Welcome back .”

As Fox and MGK (real name Colson Baker) have been working through their issues, another insider shares that the exciting news has put them “on a much better path in their relationship.”

“They’ve always been rocky and had their ups and downs,” adds another source. “But they’ve been proactive in therapy and very spiritual and honest with each other.”

The insider notes that MGK “has made some huge life changes to be the best partner and parent he can be.”

According to a third source, both Fox and MGK are “so happy and excited” to expand their family and feel the pregnancy has breathed new life into their romance.

“They feel like this is a new chapter for their relationship and a new chance,” the insider says Us. “They’ve been through a lot together but feel a positive renewed energy and are in a good place right now.”

Parenthood is not a new role for either star. MGK, for his part, is the father of the 15-year-old daughter Casie, whom he shares with ex. Emma Cannon. Meanwhile, Fox shares sons Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7, with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. MGK and Fox first bonded while on the set of their film Midnight in Switchgrass. In January 2022, the rapper proposed, but the couple has yet to walk down the aisle. In November 2023, Fox opened up about how her pregnancy loss strained her and MGK’s relationship.

“I had never been through anything like this before in my life,” she said during one Good morning America interview. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and separately … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?'”
