Great Wolf Lodge opens first resort in Florida

NAPLES, Fla. – Great Wolf Lodge has brought its indoor water parks south and has opened its doors in Florida.

The resort chain has locations across the country in places like California, Wisconsin, Texas, Georgia and now Florida.

The Naples resort has welcomed guests with a limited capacity at 3900 City Gate Blvd. N. since late September, but celebrated its grand opening this week with the help of former NFL star Rob Gronkowski.

Gronkowski helped raise nearly $60,000 for Make-A-Wish.

Great Wolf Lodge is known for its Wolf pack characters and slides, lots of them. The new resort will have 12 slides, three pools and two water play zones.

It will be the company’s 21st resort and the first in Florda.
