Sami Zayn and The Usos were shown telling Roman Reigns that they were unable to find a fifth member until Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline came to the ring. OG Bloodline soon followed. They all immediately started fighting.

Reigns saved Zayn from a Samoan Spike before he and Jacob Fatu had a standoff that was interrupted by Bronson Reed. He helped Sikoa and his crew take out everyone in the OG Bloodline.

The second of three title matches took place next as Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins challenged Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin for the tag titles.

Ford and Shelley opened the bout with a quick exchange that showcased the speed and agility of both men.

The Profits are one of the best tag teams in WWE and MCMG are one of the best tag teams in the world, so it seemed almost easy for them to put on a good match.

Although almost every move looked good, the outcome was very predictable. The Guns just made their WWE debut a few weeks ago and won the titles shortly after, so the odds of them dropping the belts here were slim at best.

What was unpredictable was how it ended. Tommaso Ciampa attacked Profit to cause a disqualification. Johnny Gargano tried to play peacemaker, but Ciampa pushed him to the mat and walked away.

MCMG tried to apologize to the Profits, but Dawkins slapped Shelley in the face before he and Ford walked away. While a DQ finish is never ideal, the way this was handled created some interesting possibilities for the future.

Result: The profit won by DQ

Notable moments and observations

  • Jey told Roman he had to call someone, but he didn’t reveal who it was.
  • The fireworks for MCMG’s entrance should be faster and louder.
  • The way Dawkins launched Shelley over the announce table ruled.
