CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Hundreds of vendors from across the country will gather for the beloved annual Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte this month.

Here’s everything you need to know.

The basics

The 57th annual Southern Christmas Show will take place from 14-24 November 2024 at The Park Expo and Conference Center in Southeast Charlotte. The center is located at 800 Briar Creek Road off the East Independence Freeway.

More than 400 vendors will be on hand to showcase Christmas 2024 trends, treats, holiday decor, gift ideas and more – all around the theme of the 12 Days of Christmas.

Event times:

  • Sunday-Wednesday: 10-18
  • Thursday-Saturday: 10-21

What to expect at the Southern Christmas Show

About 11 football fields worth of shopping, courtesy of more than 400 vendors will be included in this year’s show.

It includes designer rooms decorated with unique Christmas decor to match the 12 Days of Christmas theme. These venues make up the annual Olde Towne Village, as do performances by local choirs.

Christmas Tree Lane also returns with lines of freshly cut North Carolina trees and wreaths.

Photos with Santa will be available and proceeds will benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children.

New in 2024

Special this year will be a performance by Karolyn Grimes, who played Zuzu Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life”. She will be at the show 22-24. November to meet fans and sell her cookbook and gifts.

For the first time, Christmas films will be shown as a daily matinee during the program’s run.

Catawba Two Kings Casino offers a “selfie spot” for celebratory photos and a chance to win a $25 Visa gift card every hour.

Preview evening: 17.00-21.00 Wednesday 13 November. Attendees can take advantage of free parking, hors d’oeuvres, and the first 250 people will receive a commemorative ornament and a pine-scented holiday hanging.

Tickets are $28, available online and at the door and will benefit this year’s charity partner, The Sandbox. The organization supports local families whose children have cancer or other life-changing illnesses.

Early Bird VIP: 8.00-10.00 Saturday 16 November. Attendance will be limited and the first 250 people will receive a commemorative ornament and pine-scented holiday hanging. Another entrance will be open during this time.

No buggies, strollers or buggies are allowed in the Early Bird VIP hours.

Tickets are $24 online and at the door.

Girls Night Out: 16:00-21:00 Friday 22 November and sponsored by MIX 107.9.

The first 100 shoppers will receive an item from Nina’s Boutique and Charlotte Knights. In addition, prizes will be given away every hour.

Tickets are $13 at the door.

Ticket information

Tickets purchased online before November 13 are $18 for adults.

Tickets purchased at participating Harris Teeter locations are $16 with a VIC card.

Otherwise, regular tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 6-12, and are free for children ages 5 and younger accompanied by a paying adult.

General parking on site is $10. Valet parking is $20.
