Gossip Girl alum Chanel Maya Banks missing in LA, family speaks out

Gossip Girl and blue blood actress Chanel Maya Banks has reportedly been missing for two weeks.

A recent report reveals that Banks’ family members — including her mother, Judy Singhfrom New York – flew to California to search for the 36-year-old actress, who has not been seen since October 30.

“Five days without hearing from my cousin is red flags and alarm bells,” Banks’ cousin Danielle-Tori Singh told Eyewitness news Wednesday, November 13. “She doesn’t go more than 48 hours without talking to me or her mom.”

She added: “That girl is more like a big sister to me.”

Since arriving on the West Coast, Danielle-Tori has been handing out missing person flyers to help find Banks. She also claimed to Eyewitness News that Banks’ husband, whose name has not been released, is not cooperating with authorities.

“He’s not willing to help the LAPD,” ​​she claimed. “He’s not willing to help me or her mom find her. He’s removing flyers from poles and cars.”

Danielle-Tori added: “I can tell you in my soul, in my gut, that something’s not right. … We’re going two weeks now without a word, without a sound. Nothing.”

She echoed those sentiments in describing a recent one created GoFundMe pageand notes that Banks and her husband have been married for just over a year. Danielle-Tori also claimed Banks’ husband had “a busted lip and marks and scratches on his neck and arms” when she saw him.

“We asked him where is Chanel and all he keeps saying is ‘she doesn’t want to be found, she’ll take it when she’s ready,'” she alleged. “He claims he doesn’t know where she is, he says he hasn’t seen or heard from her since November 7, but he never called the police to say she’s gone.”

Danielle-Tori also wrote that she was able to enter her cousin’s apartment on November 10.

“All of her belongings are still there. The only things we didn’t find are her phone and laptop. She also doesn’t go anywhere without her little dog, which was also left behind,” the GoFundMe reads. “She also doesn’t have her vehicle because it is parked in her garage. She would NEVER go anywhere without telling her mother or myself.”
