In addition to starting East Group C of the Emirates NBA Cup by upsetting the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden, the Atlanta Hawks updated the status of players on the injured list, including Bogdan Bogdanovic.

The 32-year-old Serbian winger will be re-evaluated in a week, as Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks official site reported. He dealt with right hamstring tendinopathy and had a non-surgical procedure in late October.

Sidelined along with Bogdanovic due to a right adductor strain, Czech Vit Krejci will also be re-evaluated in a week. Kobe Bufkin (right shoulder subluxation) is also set to be re-evaluated in about a week. Seth Lundy (left ankle sprain) will remain sidelined for at least four more weeks.

De’Andre Hunter (personal family reasons) and Cody Zeller (not with the team) were other absences for the Hawks against the C’s. Trae Young was also ruled out with right Achilles tendinitis.

A putback by Onyeka Okongwu with 6.1 seconds on the clock was the go-ahead that lifted the team coached by Quin Snyder to victory, 117-116. On a season-high 37-point showing, Jaylen Brown missed a jumper at the buzzer.

Helping the Hawks storm back from a 15-point second-half deficit, Swiss Clint Capela combined for 18 points with nine rebounds, two steals and an assist. Fellow starter, Frenchman Zaccharie Risacher, chipped in eight points, nine rebounds and three steals.

Portuguese Neemias Queta, who lasted 21 minutes for the losing team, recorded five rebounds and two blocks without attempting a shot. Latvian Kristaps Porzingis (left posterior tibial tendon surgery rehabilitation) remained on the sidelines.
