How to watch ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’: Streaming date, Disney+ deals and more

Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverinee reunited the star power of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman this summer in an attempt to save us from chronic superhero fatigue. It quickly became the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time – and now it’s on its way to the small screen.

If you missed the latest shenanigans of Marvel’s most outrageous superheroes in theaters, now’s your chance to watch the movie from the comfort of your couch. Here’s everything you need to know about how you look Deadpool and Wolverine at home.

What is Deadpool and Wolverine sore?

Directed by Shawn Levy, (Free guy, Night at the museum), Deadpool and Wolverine uses some reconnaissance to place his narrative after the events of Deadpool, Deadpool 2and Logan. It follows Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool (Reynolds), whose existence is threatened when the Time Variance Authority meddles in his life. To save his universe, he hijacks the TVA to summon an undead Wolverine (Jackman) for help. But as Mashable’s film editor Kristy Puchko put it in her review, “things go from team-up to trouble when Deadpool and his kidnapped Wolverine are thrown into the wasteland of TVA.”

Is Deadpool and Wolverine worth seeing?

Almost only Disney-Pixars From the inside out 2, Deadpool and Wolverine‘s domestic, international and worldwide box numbers making it the biggest theatrical release of the year. But as you probably know, numbers don’t always tell the whole story. In this case, audiences not only showed up for the film, but came out of theaters loving it. On Rotten tomatoesit currently has an audience score of 94 percent. Critics, on the other hand, are a little less enthusiastic. The sequel only has a 78 percent critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Our own reviewer criticized Disney’s firing of Marvel’s most monstrous superhero, writing: “It seems that without a major studio franchise to fight against or parody, Deadpool will be another cog in the Marvel machine.” However, she also adds that “Levy and his team pack so much entertainment into this chaotic film that it’s easy to overlook its gritty parts while watching.”

Is it going to save superhero movies? Probably not. But as Puchko noted, “It’s just really fun.”

When is Deadpool and Wolverine streaming?

Deadpool and Wolverine will make its streaming debut on November 12 on Disney+. It’s a little surprising that an R-rated movie would join the family-friendly streamer’s library instead of Hulu (where most R and PG-13 movies produced by Disney affiliates are shown), but since Disney+ is the home of all the other movies and shows in the MCU, it only makes sense Deadpool and Wolverine join them.

Verizon Fio home internet users on the 2 Gig Streaming or 2 Gig Complete plan can score a free year of Disney+ Premium (no ads), while those on the 1 Gig Streaming or 1 Gig Complete plan can sign up for six free months. Check your plan and read the eligibility conditions on the Verizon website to activate the offer. Either way, your trial period should give you plenty of time to streamm Deadpool & Wolverine free.

Best Disney+ deals for Verizon Wireless customers

Verizon Wireless customers can get a great deal on Disney+ through Verizon myPlan. Simply add a Disney package to your account via myPlan, which includes Disney+ Premium (no ads), Hulu (with ads), and ESPN (with ads). All three would normally cost you $37.97 per month separately, but by signing up through this myPlan deal, you’ll only pay $10 per month. With the recent price increase on all three streamers, the Verizon myPlan deal hasn’t changed, making it an even better deal.
