Thunder vs Clippers Prediction, Picks, Odds: Latest News, Injury Updates

game

The OKC Thunder will host Los Angeles Clippers at 19:00 on Monday.

OKC (8-2) suffered a 127-116 home loss to Golden State on Sunday, and Chet Holmgren suffered a fractured right femur. A return-to-play protocol will be provided in 8-10 weeks per publication.

Los Angeles (6-4) earned a 105-103 home win over Toronto on Saturday. The Clippers are on a four-game winning streak and are led by former Thunder guard James Harden.

Here’s a preview of the game, including score predictions, odds and injury updates.

Thunder vs. Clippers prediction, pick

Justin Martinez: Los Angeles 113, OKC 110

At full strength, OKC is the best team by a wide margin. But the Thunder already lacked centers before Holmgren’s injury, and it will be even less without the big man with 7-1. That will be a big problem on Monday when trying to limit Ivica Zubac, a rebounding machine who is playing the best basketball of his career right now. With so much uncertainty surrounding the fifth spot for OKC, I’m giving Los Angeles a slight edge.
