Team news: Daniel Farke names XI to face QPR

Leeds United are back in Sky Bet Championship action at Elland Road this afternoon (3pm), taking on Queens Park Rangers.

Following the midweek defeat to Millwall, Daniel Farke has made three changes to his starting XI, one of which was enforced after Junior Firpo was suspended for three games.

Illan Meslier remains between the posts for the Whites, with a defensive line of Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk and Sam Byram.

Joe Rothwell – who is today’s cover star on our matchday program – and Ao Tanaka continue their partnership in the heart of midfield.

In the forward areas, Brenden Aaronson, Manor Solomon and Willy Gnonto will support each other, while Mateo Joseph has been selected to lead the line.

On our bench today will be Karl Darlow, Dan James, Patrick Bamford, Joel Piroe, Josuha Guilavogui, Isaac Schmidt, Max Wober, Sam Chambers and Charlie Crew.

Starting XI: Meslier (GK), Bogle, Struijk (C), Rodon, Rothwell, Aaronson, Solomon, Joseph, Tanaka, Byram, Gnonto.

Bench: Darlow (GK), James, Bamford, Piroe, Guilavogui, Schmidt, Wober, Chambers, Crew.
