Where Veterans Can Get Discounts Around Milwaukee

Many locations in Milwaukee and surrounding suburbs are honoring those who have served in the U.S. armed forces with a series of Veterans Day events on Monday, November 11.

All locations require proof of service unless otherwise noted, so carry a military ID.

Here are 10 places in the Milwaukee area that are offering some freebies, discounts or other Veteran’s Day deals:

7 Brew

All 7Brew locations across the country are offer veterans 25% off any drink. 7Brew has two locations near Milwaukee in Brookfield and Mt. Pleasant.

Applebee’s

Veterans can stop by Applebee’s for one free meal on Monday. The national chain lets anyone who shows proof of service choose from the classic bacon cheeseburger, 6-ounce top sirloin, chicken platter, double crunch shrimp, fiesta lime chicken, oriental chicken salad or three-cheese chicken penne. You will also receive a $5 return card to be used within three weeks.

Participating locations include Applebee’s Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Delafield, Menomonee Falls, Oak Creek and West Allis.

Benson’s Restaurant Group

All veterans and active duty service members can get one 25% discount at one of Benson’s Restaurant Group’s six restaurants. The restaurants are:

  • AJ Bombers, at 1247 N. Water St.
  • Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, at 249 N. Water St.
  • The Bridgewater Modern Grill, on 2011 S. 1St St.
  • The Edison, at 322 N. Broadway
  • Onesto, at 221 N. Broadway
  • Smoke Shack, at 332 N. Milwaukee St.

Benson’s Restaurant Group locations will also donate proceeds from orders of designated menu items to Milwaukee’s Stars and Stripes Honors Flight.

Chillies

Chili’s offers one free meal for veterans and active service members. The Veterans Day deal applies to specific menu items and is only available in the restaurant. Chili’s has multiple locations in Milwaukee and surrounding suburbs, including Franklin, Germantown and Waukesha.

Colectivo coffee

Former and current service members can get a free medium-brewed coffee at Colectivo on Veterans Day, a spokesperson confirmed to the Journal Sentinel. A military ID is not required.

Cousins ​​Subs

All veterans and active duty service members can get one free 7.5 inch sub at any Cousins ​​Subs location on Monday. The Wisconsin-based chain has multiple locations throughout Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs.

Harley Davidson Museum

The Harley Davidson Museum offers free entry for veterans, active duty service members and their families all weekend, 9-11. November. The Harley-Davidson Museum and Motor Bar and Restaurant is located at 400 W. Canal St.

Motor Bar and Restaurant

The Motor Bar and Restaurant, connected to the Harley-Davidson Museum, is offer a free meal (up to $14.95) with the purchase of a beverage on Veterans Day.

Scooter’s coffee

Scooter’s Coffee honors veterans and active duty service members with a free medium drink on Veterans Day. The offer includes any drink on the menu, including the coffee chain’s new holiday menu and limited edition drinks.
