In the exciting finale of Outer Banks Season 4, Part One, JJ and Kiara stay on Kildare Island while the other Pogues go to Charleston to find the Blue Crown. But they soon find themselves running up against Lightner and his boss, Dalia, who are infiltrating a crypt under an old church in front of the Pogues and stealing a critical scroll that could aid in the treasure hunt.

Meanwhile, the last viewers see of Pope and Sarah, they are trapped in the catacombs as floods pour in from a brewing storm. In a shocking twist, JJ finds out that Luke is not his father; instead, Larissa is his biological mother, making Wes his grandfather and Chandler Groff his real father. So basically JJ may have Kook blood in his veins after all.
