Ravens RB Derrick Henry gets pants on tackle vs. Bengals, moon TNF crowd

On a mostly quiet night too Derrick Henrya play put him in TNF lore. On a run in the fourth quarter, he got pantsed by a Cincinnati Bengals defender – and the play quickly went viral.

Henry took a carry for eight yards when he was taken down BJ Hill. As Hill went to make the tackle, however, he caught the waist of Henry’s pants and pulled them down just enough for the crowd to see a full moon.

It was the latest twist in Thursday night’s game, in which the Ravens and Bengals scored touchdowns on back-to-back plays to make it a 28-28 ball game. Regardless of how the game ends, Henry’s wardrobe malfunction will likely live on across social media.

It marked Derrick Henry’s 16th carry of the night as he racked up 68 yards and a touchdown during that span. It marks his second-lowest yardage of the season trailing only the season opener, when he had 46 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Thursday night’s game started slowly but quickly turned into a classic, turning into a shootout similar to the last time the two teams played this year. Cincinnati led 14-7 at halftime and led 21-14 entering the fourth quarter. But Baltimore erupted for 21 points in the final quarter, and Cincinnati got the ball on one final possession.

Joe Burrow found Ja’Marr Chase in the end zone once again, continuing their monster night to make it a 35-34 Ravens lead. However, the two-point conversion failed and the Bengals had to try the onside kick. Baltimore recovered and sealed the win to improve to 7-3 on the season as Cincinnati fell to 4-6.

Despite the loss, Chase stole the show. He hauled in 11 catches for 264 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bengals’ offense. All told, Burrow completed 34 of 56 passes for 428 yards and four touchdowns – with the only other score to Tanner Hudson.
