Man shot in broad daylight in NYC, suspect on the loose: cops

A 47-year-old man was shot in broad daylight today on the Upper West Side Thursday morning, police said.

He was shot once in the shoulder and once in the leg at West 69th Street and Columbus Avenue around 9:20 a.m., police said.

The victim was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect, who is still at large, is a man in his 40s who was last seen wearing a black hoodie, green jacket, tan pants and carrying a black firearm, authorities said.

The motive was not immediately known.
