Andrew Nembhard, Paolo Banchero and more

On Wednesday night, the Indiana Pacers head home for just the third time so far this season to take on the Orlando Magic. The Pacers are coming off a 134-127 win against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night. Despite their slow start to the season, the Pacers are now 3-4 and on the rebound. However, things in Orlando are not looking so promising.

The Magic enter Wednesday night’s matchup 3-5 and have lost each of their last four games. Orlando’s last win, funnily enough, came against the Pacers on Oct. 28 when Paolo Banchero dropped 50 points.

Both teams will be shorthanded in their matchup. Here is the full injury report for the Pacers vs. Magic game on November 6.

There are no surprises on the Pacers’ injury report. Andrew Nembhardt is listed as questionable due to a knee problem he’s had since near the start of the season. However, he returned in Indiana’s game against the Mavericks after a one-game absence. In the win, he played 29 minutes and looked good on the pitch. While he’s questionable, it’s safe to assume Nembhard will play against the Magic.

Aaron Nesmith suffered an ankle injury against the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 1. Although the exact severity of his injury is unclear, head coach Rick Carlisle revealed that Nesmith is wearing a walking boot. He is officially out against the Magic and will likely miss more time.

From Orlando’s side, while they will only be without two players, they are two pretty important players to have sidelined. Paolo Bancherowho has had a great season so far, suffered an oblique injury and has missed each of Orlando’s last three games, all of which they lost. The magical star is expected to miss at least the rest of this month and early December.

The Magic will also play without Wendell Carter Jr.their starting center. Although Carter’s injury is far less serious than Banchero’s, he will also miss the Indiana game. In his place, the Magic will likely rely on former Pacers big man Goga Bitadze, who recorded 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in his lone start so far this season.
