Is Madelyn Cline’s Character Pregnant?

The stakes are higher than ever for the Pogues in Part 2 of Outer Banks season 4.

In the trailer for the second half of Season 4, the Pogues take up their treasure hunting international again as they head to Morocco in search of Blackbeard’s Blue Crown – and somehow, they have even more to lose this time.

The Part 1 finale ended with a bombshell for JJ (Rudy Pankow) about his real parents and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) and Pope (Jonathan Daviss) stuck in an underground tunnel with rising water levels, but Part 2 ups the ante even more as John B ( Chase Stokes) says in the trailer: “It’s all on the line. The question is: what would we risk to protect it?”

After Kiara (Madison Bailey) laments that the Pogues are once again homeless, broke and being “hunted by killers”, Sarah seems to hint at the possibility that she is pregnant.

“Maybe you could find a positive thing?” she asks Kiara, who closes her mouth in shock.

With a potential baby on the line, the Pogues head to Morocco with Rafe (Drew Starkey) in tow, even though he says he doesn’t “want any part of your little treasure hunt.”

“I’ll get you to North Africa, I’ll get my cut. Deal?” Rafe asks John B, causing JJ to clock him across the jaw.

“I mean, honestly, if he didn’t do it, I would,” Pope says after JJ punches Rafe.

Along with a treacherous boat trip to Morocco, the trailer also sees Pope behind bars, Sarah with a gun, a knife fight between John B and Rafe, and JJ declaring that it’s “my right to fight for what’s mine,” with reference to his Part 1 discovery that his real parents are actually Larissa Genrette and Chandler Groff.

Trouble also appears to potentially be on the horizon for Sarah as a tearful John B tells her: “We’ll figure it out, we always do” – possibly in response to her pregnancy – and later screams her name, which did fans especially worried about her fate.

As the Nov. 7 premiere of Part 2 approaches, fans are increasingly skeptical about what lies ahead for the Pogues.

Theories that Sarah was pregnant ran rampant after the trailer premiered at the Poguelandia fan event in Santa Monica on Nov. 2, and fans have also speculated that Pankow is on her way out of the show after he said so. Backstage in August that he knows the show “isn’t going to last forever.”

Ahead of the Season 4 premiere last month, Cline, 26, told PEOPLE she was happy to see Sarah and John B finally find some peace in their tumultuous relationship.

“We’ve had enough (drama). We’ve got 3 seasons worth,” she said.

“I feel like they’ve been fighting each other quite a bit, and I’ve been sick of it. Because I’m sick of people coming after me.”

Although things started off without a hitch, Cline teased that Part 2 could bring some drama. “Just because the first five episodes start happily doesn’t mean there won’t be some kind of discourse. This is TV.”

The cast also teased how this season’s treasure hunt is ramping up, with Carlacia Grant (Cleo) telling PEOPLE it has “the most stakes,” and the Daviss teased that the Pogues are “deeper than we ever thought we’d be.”

“Cleo has experienced loss in relation to this particular treasure, so it’s about revenge,” Grant, 33, added.
