Inter Milan v Arsenal – Uefa Champions League latest as Mikel Arteta’s men look to maintain unbeaten start in Europe

After finishing second in the last two Premier League campaigns, Arsenal’s bid for another season is underway.

Mikel Arteta’s side have won just five of their first ten Premier League games and are now winless in their last three in the division.

A 2-2 draw at home to Liverpool has been sandwiched between away defeats to Bournemouth and, more recently, Newcastle.

Injuries and red cards have plagued their campaign, with the Gunners already seeing three players sent off in the league.

Inter Milan, meanwhile, stormed to the Serie A title last season, finishing 19 points ahead of their local rivals in second place.

They face stiffer competition this time around with Antonio Conte’s Napoli currently a point ahead of Simone Inzaghi’s men at the top of the division.

The reigning champions are in exceptional form though, winning five of their last six Serie A contests and drawing the other in a thrilling 4-4 draw with Juventus.

They are now coming off the back of a 1-0 home win over Venezia thanks to Lautaro Martinez’s second-half header.
