When is ‘The View’ coming? This is how you look after the election

In the wake of Donald Trump’s election victory on Tuesday (or early Wednesday), television viewers began looking for reactions.

Cable news programs, of course, went wall-to-wall with continued election coverage, conducting election observations and tossing around various theories about how Trump was able to defeat Vice President Kamala Harris.

Beyond that, the one show that is generating the most curiosity among Wednesday morning viewers is “The View.” The morning talk show, with a group of hosts led by Whoopi Goldberg, has become a hot spot for liberals — and occasionally conservatives; both Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. have been guests in the program.

What time is ‘The View’?

In Phoenix, “The View” airs at 10 a.m. on ABC 15. It does not air live in Arizona; it is recorded in front of a studio audience.

In addition to Goldberg, co-hosts include Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Although popular with more liberal viewers, the show is also often derided by conservatives as being too soft and too biased. It is also an occasional subject of “Saturday Night Live” sketches.

Not for nothing, it was also home to Meghan McCain, a former co-host who now qualifies as what you might call a disgruntled employee. In the years since she left the show, McCain has criticized her time there, including in an audiobook, “Bad Republican.”
